Abstract:
A method for radio network controller to get capability of base station, includes
the following steps: the first step, radio network controller sends auditing
request message down to base station; the second step, in answer to the message,
base station returns response message, which carries capability indicating
information, to radio network controller, and said information indicates whether
the base station supports continuous packet connectivity; the third step, radio
network controller gets capability indicating information carried by the response
message.
