Title:
METHOD FOR RATING THE NOISE OF THE BRAKES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/092214
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for rating the noise of a braking device of a motor vehicle when the vehicle is traveling, comprising the following steps: a step of recording the signals and parameters of the braking noise of the vehicle, which comprises, for each actuation (i) of the braking device, measuring the maximum level of the acoustic pressure and the duration of the noise, and determining partial ratings CPN (i) and CPD (i) depending on the values measured in accordance with predetermined rules, and at the end of travel, determining the mean of the individual partial ratings CPN (i) and CPD (i); a step of determining a third partial rating CPO, which is based on the occurrence of the noise; and a step of overall rating taking the various partial ratings into account.
