Abstract:
A method for realizing an arbitrary ultrasonic field. Pulse laser is produced by utilizing a pulse laser, is modulated to a specific two-dimensional or three-dimensional light field distribution by a phase-type spatial light modulator; the light of the specific distribution acts on a photoacoustic medium; due to a photoacoustic effect, an acoustic field distribution corresponding to the light field will be produced in the photoacoustic medium; the acoustic field constitutes a two-dimensional or three-dimensional spatial sound source; after being transmitted a certain distance, sound waves emitted by the sound source can form an expected ultrasonic field distribution on the surface or in the interior of the sample. In the method, by only adjusting a phase distribution diagram input onto a spatial light modulator, a coherent ultrasonic field distribution formed on the surface or in the interior of a target object can be changed, and involves great flexibility.
