Abstract:
A method for realizing the network performance measuring aims at solving the problem in the prior art that: when the network address translation device performing the address mapping, the measuring nodes locating in both sides of the device can not identify the same measured stream so that the network performance measuring is affected; according to the measuring request, the said method locates the network address translation device in the transmission path, which forms from the first measuring node to the second measuring node, and regards the device as the mid measuring node; send network performance measure configuration to the first measuring node, the mid measuring node, and the second measuring node; perform the network performance measuring between the first measuring node and the mid measuring node, between the mid measuring node and second measuring node, respectively, then, synthesize the network performance indexes during the two measuring segments to obtain a integrated network performance index. A network system is also disclosed.
