Abstract:

A method for realizing single radio voice call continuity and a single radio voice call continuity system are disclosed. After a User Equipment(UE-1) establishes an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem(IMS) session, where a signaling anchors to an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem Control Point(ICP) and media anchors to the Access Gateway(AGW) controlled by the ICP, with a remote end through a Packet Switch(PS) network, the present method is realized as follows: PS network controls a network element to send a switch request to an enhanced Mobile Switching Centre (eMSC) for switching the IMS session to a Circuit Switch (CS) network access mode; after receiving the switch request, the eMSC prepares the media link resource for the UE-1 to communicate with the eMSC and sends a call request to the ICP; the ICP controls the AGW to correlate the media link established by the call request with the media link of the remote end in the IMS session. The present method can effectively solve the problem that the time of interruption is too long in the prior art, and improve user experience.
