Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for receiving enhanced service of a video display apparatus comprising the following steps: receiving AV content; extracting a first characteristic information from the received AV content; transmitting the extracted first characteristic information to a first server and receiving from the first server a database including at least one from content information, enhanced service information, and enhanced service which are related to the first characteristic information; saving the database received from the first server to a memory; extracting a second characteristic information from the received AV content; and searching and obtaining one from content information, enhanced service information, and enhanced service which correspond to the second characteristic information.
