Abstract:
The object of the invention consists in providing a method for rechargeable battery cell charging and for charge compensation and an associated apparatus, which method enables uniform charging with quick and reliable charge compensation and therefore improves the durability and performance of a rechargeable battery cell arrangement. A method for rechargeable battery cell charging and for charge compensation, wherein the rechargeable battery cells (1) to be charged are connected in series and are charged with a charging current IL (2), wherein the total voltage Utot (3) and the charging current IL (2) and, at each rechargeable battery cell (1), the rechargeable battery cell voltage UZ (4) are measured, and wherein, when a maximum rechargeable battery cell voltage UZmax (4) is reached, the charging current IL (2) as proportional charging current IV (5), is conducted past the respective rechargeable battery cell (1) by means of a monitoring and regulation circuit (6) and a trickle charging current IE (7) is conducted into the respective rechargeable battery cell (1), wherein the measurement of the rechargeable battery cell voltage UZ (4) is performed by means of the monitoring and regulation circuit (6). For this purpose, in each case one monitoring and regulation circuit (6) is connected in parallel with the terminals of the rechargeable battery cells (1) and the monitoring and regulating circuit (6) has means for measuring the respective rechargeable battery cell voltage UZ (4) and for matching the rechargeable battery cell charging current, the charging voltage UL (11) and the charging current IL (2).
