Abstract:
This method for recognizing a detection abnormality includes: using a pipette tip, which is attached to a pipette nozzle and is for sucking up or discharging a liquid, to move a sample in a reagent accumulation area to a reaction area and perform detection of a substance to be detected in the sample in the reaction area; using the pipette tip to suck up the sample remaining in the sample accumulation area and then measuring the pressure when the sample in the pipette tip is discharged; and assessing the result of the detection by comparing information obtained from the measured pressure and a reference value.
