The present invention related to a method for recognizing the frame number of multi-frame cascade. The method realized the recognition of frame number as the design of Compact Peripheral Component Interconnection (CPIC) platform upgrade from single frame to mufti-frame. There was configuration a frame ID production device composed of dial code switch (:104) and a frame number information process device composed of programmable logical component (105) oil the back flashboard of CPCI platform (103). and processed the frame number information and stored this information ill cycle shift register of the programmable logical component. The system broad (101) read the frame number information in cycle shift register bit for bit by General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) in from of cascade, and authenticated the frame number information. The frame number of programmable logical component was composed of an original bit presented by the flag bit; a frame number ID, and a hit for verifying the frame number ID.
