Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for recognizing a screen transition in image content and a server for operating same. The method, according to various embodiments of the present invention, is a method for recognizing screen transition in image content by a server, and comprises the steps of: confirming a change value of color information between a first frame and a second frame, which is the frame after the first frame, from among frames included in the image content; and verifying a pixel pattern between the first frame and the second frame to recognize the occurrence of a screen transition, when the change value of the color information that has been confirmed is at least a predetermined value.
