Abstract:
A method for recommending a product to be worn on the face, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: generating, by an apparatus for recommending a product to be worn on the face, a plurality of punctual coordinates of a plurality of respective parts recognized from a received facial image when the facial image is received from a user terminal; generating, by the apparatus for recommending a product to be worn on the face, appearance information including the position, size, and angle of each part calculated using the plurality of punctual coordinates of the plurality of respective parts; generating gender and age estimation information by using the appearance information; assigning a face type of a user on the basis of the appearance information and the gender and age estimation information; and providing, to the user terminal, recommendation information about at least one product to be worn on the face, corresponding to the assigned face type of the user.
