Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for forming an image, including an ink transfer step for transferring to a recording medium an ink composition including a colorant, water, a polymerizable compound, and polymer particles having a glass transition temperature of 80-150°C, and recording an image, a drying step for drying the image, a curing step for curing the image by irradiating active energy rays to the dried image, a cooling step for cooling the cured image so that the temperature difference before and after cooling is at least 15°C, and an accumulation step for stacking an accumulating a plurality of sheets of the cooled recording medium.
