Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for recovering an acid and a platinum group metal from a leaching solution of a waste catalyst and, more particularly, to a method for recovering an acid and a platinum group metal from a leaching solution of a waste catalyst, comprising the steps of: filtering the leaching solution of the waste catalyst and thereafter providing the leaching solution in a thickening tank, heating the leaching solution, and recovering the acid that is included in the leaching solution; following the recovery of the acid, providing a concentrated solution of the leaching solution in a substitution tank and adding a metal, thereby subjecting the concentrated solution to a substitution reaction; and following the substitution reaction, washing, with an acid, a solid separated by solid-liquid separation and recovering the solid.
