Abstract:
An aspect of the present invention provides a method for recovering metals, the method comprising the steps of: (a) atomizing a first copper alloy to obtain a power; (b) dissolving the powder in a first acidic solution to separate a second copper alloy and impurities; (c) subjecting the second copper alloy to electrolytic refining to recover copper; (d) dissolving the impurities in a second acidic solution to prepare a metal salt stock solution, followed by filtration, to remove a silver salt; (e) heating the metal salt stock solution, followed by solvent extraction, to separate a first organic phase and a first aqueous phase; (f) washing the first organic phase to separate a second organic phase and a second aqueous phase; (g) reducing the second organic phase to obtain gold and a first waste liquid; and (h) adding a reducing agent to the first and second aqueous phases to obtain gold and a second waste liquid.
