Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for recovering at least one kind of metal selected from the group consisting of gold (Au) and palladium (Pd), said method comprising an addition step of adding a metal absorbent to a solution containing a metal and an absorption step of causing the metal absorbent to absorb the metal, wherein: the metal absorbent contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of microorganism cells belonging to the order of Cyanidiales, corresponding cell derivatives, and processed products and imitation artifacts thereof; and the solution is a nitric acid solution or a sulfuric acid solution.
