Abstract:
Provided is a method for recovering a platinum group element from a water-soluble polymer on which a platinum group element is adsorbed, wherein the method is provided with a preparation step for preparing a hydrochloric acid aqueous solution containing 0.25-31.50 wt% of hydrochloric acid, and a mixing step for mixing the hydrochloric acid aqueous solution prepared in the preparation step and a water-soluble polymer on which the platinum group element is adsorbed for 1.5 hours or longer in the presence of thiourea, mixing being performed with the content ratio of the thiourea in the mixture in the mixing step being 0.5-20.0 wt% and the content ratio of the water-soluble polymer on which the metal group element is adsorbed being 16-72 wt%.
