Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for recovering precious metals from a waste printed circuit board and, more specifically, to: a step (S1) of separating a precipitate comprising tin and lead by pre-treating a waste printed circuit board piece; a step (S2) of grinding the waste printed circuit board piece which has been pre-treated in step S1 and obtaining a metal fraction by means of the density differential; a step (S3) of treating the metal fraction with microorganisms to separate a liquid comprising copper, nickel and zinc by means of bioleaching; a step (S4) of obtaining a leached solution comprising gold by electro-chlorinating, in an electrolytic bath, a solid residue remaining after the liquid has been separated in step S3; and a step (S5) of obtaining gold by treating the leached solution from step S4 with an organic solvent. By means of said steps, various metals can be recovered from the waste printed circuit board and, particularly, gold which is a noble metal can be recovered.
