Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of the recovery of spent lithium-ion batteries, and provides a method for recovering valuable metals from spent lithium-ion batteries. The method comprises: subjecting spent lithium-ion batteries to short-circuit discharge, disassembly, crushing, roasting and screening to obtain the powder of an electrode active material; subjecting the powder of the electrode active material to an alkali washing treatment by using an alkaline solution, and filtering same, thereby removing copper and aluminum; drying the powder of the electrode active material after the alkali washing treatment, mixing the dried powder of the electrode active material with starch and concentrated sulfuric acid at a set ratio, and stirring same until uniform to obtain a mixed material; placing the mixed material into a corundum crucible, putting the corundum crucible into a tubular roasting furnace, controlling the atmosphere, and performing roasting; and leaching a product obtained by roasting with deionized water to obtain a leachate containing valuable metal ions and leaching residues, and filtering same to obtain the leachate. According to the present invention, the concentration of impurity ions in the leachate can be reduced, the recovery purity and comprehensive recovery rate of valuable metals can be improved, and the recovery cost can be lowered.
