Abstract:
This method for recovering a water-soluble polyester resin is a method for recovering a water-soluble polyester resin that is contained in a support material from effluent in which the support material is dissolved and/or dispersed, the effluent being produced in the course of production of a three-dimensional body by a thermal fusion lamination system, when a three-dimensional body precursor including a three-dimensional body and the support material is brought into contact with a water-based detergent, and the support material is eliminated from the three-dimensional body precursor, wherein the method includes a step for adding a specific type of metal salt to the effluent, a step for heat treating and precipitating the water-soluble polyester resin, and a step for separating and recovering the precipitated water-soluble polyester resin from the effluent. According to this method for recovering a water-soluble polyester resin, there can be provided a method for recovering a water-soluble polyester resin by which a water-soluble polyester resin can be safely recovered from effluent produced in the course of production of a three-dimensional body by a thermal fusion lamination system using a support material having excellent resistance to moisture absorption, and the load on the environment can be reduced.
