Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for recycling a golf ball, which is capable of sorting a used golf ball, removing an outer cover thereof and then recycling the golf ball so as to enable the golf ball to be used rather than being discarded. The present invention provides the method for recycling a golf ball, comprising: a peeling step for sorting a three-piece or four-piece used golf ball and immersing the sorted golf ball into a peeling solution so as remove an outer cover of the golf ball; an outer cover molding step for inserting a core, from which the outer cover is removed, into a mold, to which an outer cover material is supplied so as to mold an outer cover; a polishing step for polishing the molded outer cover of the golf ball; a first coating step for coating the polished outer cover of the golf ball with a desired paint color; a printing step for printing a logo, a model name, a ball number, and the like on a surface of the outer cover of the golf ball coated with the paint; and a second coating step for coating, with transparent paint, a surface of a coating layer on which the logo, the name, the ball number, and the like have been printed in the printing step. Accordingly, the present invention saves resources and remarkably reduces waste disposal costs, thereby preventing environmental contamination, and particularly, and enables a golfer to use, in an inexpensive manner, a golf ball of which the outer appearance and quality have not been degraded, thereby reducing costs of golf balls.
