Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for recycling spent lithium-ion batteries, which method relates to the technical field of the recovery or processing of waste materials. The method for recycling spent lithium-ion batteries of the present invention comprises the following steps: (1) drying spent lithium-ion batteries; (2) crushing and sieving same to obtain the oversize and the undersize; (3) mixing and roasting the oversize and sodium hydroxide; (4) mixing the roasted oversize with water, and carrying out pulping and wet magnetic separation to obtain iron slag and a non-magnetic slurry; (5) subjecting the non-magnetic slurry to solid-liquid separation to obtain a non-magnetic material and a circulating fluid; and (6) immersing the non-magnetic material into an ammonium sulfate solution and reacting same for a period of time to obtain copper slag. By means of recycling spent lithium-ion batteries via the method in the present invention, high-purity iron slag and copper slag can be obtained.
