Abstract:
The present invention, in order to resolve an issue of pressure fluctuations that arise due to both the left and right propellers of a twin-screw vessel, an issue that can be greater and more complex than for a conventional vessel, relates to a method for effectively reducing the overall pressure fluctuations by controlling the phase difference of the pressure fluctuation time series of the two propellers of the twin-screw vessel, the control of the phase difference of the pressure fluctuation time series being accomplished by controlling the relative angles of rotation of the two propellers.
