Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to a steering system (1) for avoiding or reducing wheel fight in a vehicle. The inventive steering system comprises a steering wheel angle detection device (3) and a manual torque detection device (4) as well as a control device (2) for evaluating the detected steering wheel angles and manual torques. The control device (2) actuates an actuator (8) in the steering train and is provided with means for detecting a load moment when the evaluation of the detected steering wheel angles and manual torques indicate that the steering wheel angle is changed involuntarily.
