Abstract:
It becomes possible to remove unpleasant odor of sludge, to control strength upon the formation easily, and to regenerate sludge that has to be disposed normally into an environmentally-compatible civil engineering material. A coal ash preparation composed of at least coal ash and a cement is added in an amount of 10 to 25% to dirt composed of at least rubble and sludge, the resultant product is mixed while being rotated to produce a mixture, and dirt grains each having a size equal to or larger than a predetermined size are separated from the mixture to extract a remaining mixture as improved soil. The remaining mixture can be used as a civil engineering material.
