Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for refitting an inkjet printer, comprising: separating the housing from the printer module, and further disassembling the printer module into a base and a core; separating the base into a waste ink recovery cartridge and a remaining base part; providing a platform, respectively mounting the remaining base part and the waste ink recovery cartridge onto the platform and adding a pad between the waste ink recovery cartridge and the platform, the height of the pad being consistent with the thickness of a predetermined print template, mounting the core onto the remaining base part, and adding a pad between the core and the remaining base part, the height of the pad being essentially the same as the thickness of the predetermined print template; and adding a first print template bracket to the front part of the remaining base part in the feed direction of the print template, and adding a second print template bracket onto the rear part of the base in the feed direction of the print template.
