Abstract:
A method of regenerating a basic anion-exchange resin by removing a fluorinated emulsifying agent from the basic anion-exchange resin having the fluorinated emulsifying agent adsorbed thereon. It does not necessitate the safety device/recovery technique necessary for organic-solvent handling when a combustible organic solvent represented by an alcohol is used. It eliminates burdens imposed by, e.g., a treatment for alleviating a COD burden. It is easy and efficient. A basic anion-exchange resin having a fluorinated emulsifying agent adsorbed thereon is brought into contact with an aqueous alkali solution having a temperature of 60-105°C to elute the fluorinated emulsifying agent and regenerate the basic anion-exchange resin.
