Abstract:
A method of regenerating a vitrified grinding wheel comprising a metal core and an outer peripheral wheel part connected thereto and capable of effectively utilizing abrasive grains and the other resources, comprising a wheel stripping process (32) for removing the residual portion of the wheel part from the core when the wheel is used to the use limit and a sticking process (50) for connecting the separately manufactured new outer peripheral wheel part onto the core through an adhesive agent layer, whereby, since only the slight residual portion of the wheel part accumulated on the core (namely, on the outer peripheral surface thereof) and removed from the core when the wheel is used to the use limit is disposed off, the abrasive grains and the other resources can be utilized effectively.
