Abstract:
A method for regenerating a metal oxide fluidized bed catalyst containing molybdenum, bismuth and iron, which has been deteriorated by the use in reaction in the production of acrylonitrile through ammoxidation of propylene, which method comprises impregnating the deteriorated oxide catalyst separately with a solution of a molybdenum compound and a solution of at least one compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of iron, chromium, lanthanum and cerium, or impregnating with a mixed solution of those compounds which has been prepared in advance, followed by drying, and calcinating the resulting catalyst at a temperature of 500 to 700 °C.
