Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for regenerating a composite membrane module, which has been decreased in the performance, by means of chemical cleaning with use of sodium hypochlorite, an acid, an alkali and the like. [Solution] A method for regenerating a membrane module that is obtained by incorporating a composite membrane having a first separation layer that is disposed on one surface of a porous supporting membrane and is configured from an anionic polymer and a second separation layer that is disposed on the surface of the first separation layer and is configured from at least one cationic or anionic ionomer. This method for regenerating a membrane module is characterized by sequentially performing a step wherein at least one cationic polymer solution or anionic polymer solution is brought into contact with the separation layer-side surface of the composite membrane and a step wherein a crosslinking agent solution is brought into contact with the separation layer-side surface.
