Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING ADHERED SUBSTANCES SUCH AS OIL IN HEAT EXCHANGER WITHIN TUBE EXPANSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/052761
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for removing adhered substances such as oil in a heat exchanger within a tube expansion system. Said method makes it possible to keep the installation location of equipment for manufacturing heat exchangers and for removing adhered substances such as working oil to the minimum range necessary within a tube expansion system, while also preventing a reduction in the number of heat exchangers produced per unit time via the tube expansion system. In addition, even when different types of heat exchangers (in terms of tube length, tube quantity, tube diameter, staggered or other tube layout, fin quantity, size, etc.) are produced, it is possible to remove corrosion-causing in-tube oil and the like, as well as adhered substances such as working oil adhered in the vicinity of a heat exchanger tube and through-hole contact area, said heat exchanger being formed by a plurality of heat-radiating fins, and a tube inserted into through-holes that are respectively provided in end plates sandwiching the plurality of heat-radiating fins. The present invention is characterized by, via a device for removing adhered substances such as working oil using a pressurized gas or the like to scatter adhered substances, and/or using near-infrared rays or the like to vaporize adhered substances, removing adhered substances such as working oil adhering to at least the vicinity of a tube and through-hole contact area of a pre-tube-expansion heat exchanger, said heat exchanger being fixed within a tube expansion system and formed by a plurality of heat-radiating fins, and a tube inserted into through-holes that are respectively provided in end plates sandwiching the plurality of heat-radiating fins. The present invention is further characterized by thereafter performing primary tube expansion and secondary, tertiary and subsequent tube flaring, at the same step and/or at another step, via the tube expansion system with respect to the pre-tube-expansion heat exchanger from which adhered substances such as working oil adhering to at least the vicinity of a tube and through-hole contact area have been removed. The present invention is yet further characterized by removing, before, during, or after secondary, tertiary and subsequent tube flaring, in-tube oil and the like via a device for removing in-tube oil and the like, said device comprising a pressurized-gas spray mechanism and/or a pressurized-gas discharge mechanism or a mechanism for vaporizing oil and the like provided to a flare punch that performs secondary, tertiary and subsequent tube flaring.
