Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for removing chlorine from a waste plastic, the method includes: a) reacting a waste plastic with a neutralizing agent; and b) reacting the product of step a) with a copper compound, wherein 95% by weight or more of chlorine is removed based on the total weight of the waste plastic.
