Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING DEPOSITS IN HOT-METAL LADLE, AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING DEPOSITS IN HOT-METAL LADLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/163162
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of efficiently removing deposits such as base metals and slag that have adhered to a hot-metal ladle, without peeling away refractory material in the hot-metal ladle. A burner device (20) is moved along the surface boundary between a hot-metal ladle (10) and a deposit (1), and a flame which is wider in the thickness direction of the deposit (1) is sprayed by the burner device (20) such that the interval (L) between burners (21) and the deposit (1) is in the range of 100-500 mm. After the entirety of the deposit (1) has been heated in the thickness direction, the flame is sprayed only on the portion of the deposit (1) near the surface boundary, thereby removing the deposit (1) adhered to the hot-metal ladle (10).
