Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/143639
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for removing pesticide residues from a natural plant extract and, more specifically, to a method for removing, by using fatty acid alkyl esters (FAAEs), fat-soluble pesticides and/or water-soluble pesticides remaining in an extract derived from a whole plant (flowers, leaves, stems, roots, fruits and the like) of a natural plant. The method for removing pesticide residues from a natural plant extract, according to the present invention, efficiently removes pesticide residues from a natural plant extract, preferably from a ginseng extract, while minimizing the loss of active ingredients of the natural plant (for example, saponin of ginseng), thereby having an effect of effectively removing pesticide residues from a natural plant extract.
