Abstract:

Radioactive nuclear species can be easily removed from a solution under aerobic conditions through a process comprising growing euglena in contact with radioactive nuclear species in a solution suitable for the living of euglena to thereby transfer the radioactive nuclear species into euglena and isolating the euglena containing the radioactive nuclear species from the solution.
