Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to remove, through a rational improvement utilizing a part of a valve device, an unwanted valve constituent member of the valve device from a connecting opening portion of a pipe portion efficiently in a state in which the opening of the connecting opening portion of the pipe portion is sealed reliably, and to achieve a decrease in construction cost by reducing the number of pieces of closing equipment. Provided is a method of removing a valve in a fluid pipe line structure in which, on the side of a connecting opening portion (16A) of a pipe portion (16) connected to a fluid piping system, a valve device (30) provided with a valve body (31) adapted for opening and closing operations from a direction intersecting a flow passage axis of the connecting opening portion (16A) is detachably provided, by which method an unwanted portion of the valve device (30) is removed from the connecting opening portion (16A) side of the pipe portion (16) in a non-flow-interrupted state. The method is provided with: a valve body fixing step of hermetically fixing the valve body (31) onto the connecting opening portion (16A) side in a valve-closed position; and a valve constituent member removing step of removing, in a state in which the hermetically fixed valve body (31) is left on the connecting opening portion (31), another unwanted valve constituent member of the valve device (30).
