Abstract:
If a defect called a 'dot omission' occurs in one of display portions constituting a liquid crystal display device (101), a repairing film (1) is adhered to the image display face of the liquid crystal display device (101), and a prism portion (2) having a section in which crests (2a) and valley (2b) of an isosceles triangle shape are alternated is formed on the surface of the repairing film (1), so that a part of light emitted obliquely from a normal display portion is refracted and combined by the prism portion (2) and emanates in a direction normal to the repairing film (1).
