Abstract:
Provided is a method for repairing a lining of urea plant equipment (10) having a manhole (2) formed on the upper end section thereof, wherein damage to the inner circumferential surface of an existing lining (4) is repaired with a new lining. This repair method is provided with a preparation step for preparing a plurality of corrosion-resistant strips (6) to serve as a new lining. Each corrosion-resistant strip (6) has: a short side (7) shorter than the inner diameter of the manhole (2); and a long side (8) longer than the inner diameter of the manhole (2). The repair method is further provided with an arrangement step for placing the corrosion-resistant strips (6) into the urea plant equipment (10) through the manhole (2) by orienting the corrosion-resistant strips (6) such that the long side (8) is aligned with the vertical direction, and arranging the corrosion-resistant strips (6) on the inner circumferential surface of the existing lining (4) while keeping the long side (8) aligned with the vertical direction. The arrangement in the arrangement step is performed such that the corrosion-resistant strips (6) adjacent to each other are joined to each other and the corrosion-resistant strips (6) are joined to the inner circumferential surface of the existing lining (4).
