Abstract:
This method for replacing a base isolation device includes a step S1 of removing a linking bolt 34 and cutting a grout layer 40, a step S2 of replacing a base isolation device 10 with a new base isolation device 10, a step S3 of setting a flat jack 51 into a gap between an upper flange 13 and an upper base plate 31 of the new base isolation device 10 and inducing axial force in the new base isolation device 10 through the flat jack 51, a step S4 of attaching a new linking bolt 34 and linking the upper flange 13 and the upper base plate 31 of the new base isolation device 10, and a step S5 of filling the gap in the cut grout layer with grout or non-shrinkage concrete and reforming the grout layer 40.
