Abstract:
Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a method for resource adjustment in a cache, and a device; the cache may achieve data deduplication, comprising a data domain and a flag domain, and the method comprises: dividing P idle data rows in the data domain into Q flag rows when a data deduplication operation for a cache line is detected and the number of idle data rows in the data domain satisfies a first condition, and configuring a mapping relationship between the Q flag rows and data blocks in a memory on the basis of a manner of mapping between the cache and the memory such that the P idle data rows in the data domain are multiplexed into the Q flag rows. Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a method for data access in a cache and a device. The embodiment of the present invention may implement data domain multiplexing into a flag domain, thereby increasing the accessible address space of the cache, increasing the capacity of the cache, and improving data processing efficiency.
