Abstract:
A method for respirator pressure trigger control, comprising: S1, setting a respiratory cycle, and calculating or monitoring an end-expiratory pressure value; S2, presetting a pressure trigger sensitivity value; S3, calculating according to the pressure trigger sensitivity and end-expiratory pressure values, and determining whether to enable the respirator to trigger pressure; and S4, triggering ventilation according to trigger results. The present respirator pressure control method uses an algorithm to reduce occurrences of false triggering. When a positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEPI) is present in the respiratory system, the method allows a patient to trigger with more ease. The method is also suitable to be used with anesthesia machine and other pressure trigger control systems.
