Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular to a method for retransmitting an RLC data packet, and a base station, which are intended to solve the technical problem of low throughput of a UE caused by a large retransmission delay when a micro base station performs HARQ on a data packet. In the embodiments of the present invention, if feedback information, received by a macro base station, about an RLC data packet transmitted by a micro base station is NACK, the macro base station may judge whether an HARQ combined gain can be obtained when the micro base station performs HARQ on the RLC data packet, that is, whether a delay is relatively small; and if so, the micro base station is instructed to retransmit the RLC data packet in an HARQ mode. The delay is relatively small, and therefore the throughput of a UE is not influenced as far as possible.
