Title:
METHOD OF SCREENING INSECTICIDE SUBSTANCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/030380
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of screening an insecticide substance. When the screening method of the present invention is used, a natural substance, similar to allatostatin which suppresses larval hormone synthesis expressed in insects, is discovered. Thus, the substance can be used as a pesticide for impeding the normal development of harmful insects. Since allatostatin and receptor thereof specifically exist in the insect world, the substance is expected to have no effects on humans and other mammals and has the advantage of being suitable for the development of an environmentally-friendly pesticide.
