Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of sealing a gap (5) between two adjacent members (la,lb) selected from wood, cork, and plastic, said gap (5) having walls (3) and a bottom (2) comprising the steps of: a. melting a polyamide composition having a softening point above 80°C, b. filling the gap with the molten polyamide composition, c. solidifying the polyamide composition, thereby forming a seal between the two adjacent members (la,lb). The invention pertains further to methods for removing and repairing said seals, and to a device for use in the above method.
