Abstract:
The present invention relates to a productivity potential area map (PPAM) and, more particularly, to a method for optimizing a location of an oil well in a reservoir and identifying an optimal oil well location and the substantial productivity of the reservoir by considering an influence radius which is the degree that a grid block is influenced depending on the location of the oil well in addition to a productivity potential map (PPM) which is one of the existing methods for determining productivity in oil wells. A method for searching for a location of an oil well using the productivity potential area map according to the present invention comprises: the first step of calculating the productivity potential map (PPM) on the basis of a grid block of a reservoir; the second step of calculating an influence radius equation considering influence on the productivity of the grid block of the reservoir depending on the location of the oil well; and the third step of calculating the productivity potential area map (PPAM) by considering the influence radius equation in addition to the productivity potential map (PPM). The method for searching for a location of an oil well using the productivity potential area map according to the present invention has the effect of identifying a grid block influenced by the location of the oil well and indicating the productivity of the oil well depending on the same.
