Abstract:
A method for searching mobile telephone television programs and a corresponding mobile telephone are disclosed in the present invention. The method for searching includes the steps of: by the mobile telephone, receiving the searching words used for searching mobile telephone television program; by the mobile telephone, transmitting the searching words finally to an ESG server in the broadcasting service management system at the broadcasting television side via devices in the mobile network; by the ESG server, searching programs in the electronic service guide based on the searching words and transmitting the searching result back to the mobile telephone; and representing the received searching result on the mobile telephone. According to the present invention, it is possible to improve the efficiency of mobile telephone television program searching, to meet the requirements of users, and to save the memory space for the mobile telephone memory to a certain extent.
