Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for selecting location measurement units (LMUs) and related devices, for use in solving the problem of massive calculation in the existing process of selecting LMUs. The method of the embodiments of the present invention is applied to a mobile location service (LCS) locating system, and comprises: a first network device obtains a target cell where a user equipment (UE) is currently located, determines a first LMU corresponding to the target cell, determines a second LMU corresponding to a neighboring cell adjacent to the target cell, and selects the first LMU and the second LMU as target LMUs.
