Abstract:
Provided is a method for selectively culturing a microorganism in a simple manner and at low cost, which enables the selective culture of a microorganism of interest without employing any sterilizing procedure or without using any antibiotic. In the method for selectively culturing a microorganism according to the present invention, a microorganism into which a phosphite dehydrogenase gene is introduced is cultured in a culture medium containing phosphorous acid as a sole phosphorous source.
