Abstract:
An apparatus according to the present invention establishes a wireless communication terminal reported to be running a specific application as a target of selective redirection application. With respect to a packet from the wireless communication terminal established as the target of selective redirection application, a request according to communication rules loaded on the packet, for example, whether an HTTP request is transmitted from the specific application on the terminal, is determined; and the request according to the communication rule is selectively redirected to the specific application on the terminal depending on the result of the determination, wherein a packet from a wireless communication terminal not established as the target of application is relayed to the destination of the packet. Also, when the request according to the communication rule is redirected, location information designated by the request, for example, a URL, is also delivered to the application, which has transmitted the request.
