Abstract:
A method for separating dye-containing wastewater based on a porous polymer-modified metal carbon nanotube composite membrane, the method comprising: mixing an acidified carbon nanotube membrane with a modifying solution and then reacting same under heat to obtain a modified carbon nanotube membrane, then coating the surface of the modified carbon nanotube membrane with polyethylene glycol, followed by coating with a porous polymer solution, and subjecting same to heat treatment to obtain a porous polymer-modified metal carbon nanotube composite membrane; and passing dye-containing wastewater through the porous polymer-modified metal carbon nanotube composite membrane to complete the separation of the dye-containing wastewater. The porous polymer-coated metal carbon nanotube composite membrane prepared by means of the method can provide a suitable pore size and porosity required for dye separation, wherein the polymer coating mainly plays a role in enhancing the stability and durability of the membrane, the problem of crystal defects potentially occurring during metal growth is solved, and the separation efficiency for various tested dyes can reach 90% or more.
