Title:
METHOD FOR SEPARATING ELEMENTS, AND SEPARATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/075798
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for separating elements and an element separation system in which the amount of waste liquid can be reduced without compromising the capability to separate the target elements. This element separation method is provided with: (1) a first step (2) for adjusting the oxidation reduction potential of a solution containing the target elements to a potential at which the polarity of only chemical species containing the target elements can be converted; and (2) a second step (3) for introducing the oxidation-reduction-potential-adjusted solution to an ion-absorbing body, and causing either the polarity-converted chemical species containing the target element, or the chemical species of impurity elements in the solution to be selectively adsorbed onto the ion absorbing body; the target elements being separated from the solution.
